Bradenton Kid’s Fitness is not merely a scaled down version of what the adults do here at CrossFit Bradenton. It is absolutely geared towards a specific group of individuals and the specific developmental needs of that group. This special population group is our most precious group of all – our children. Just as in our adult classes, our Bradenton Kid’s Fitness workout consists of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive, general and scalable for any participant at any level.
The constantly varied aspect means that no two workouts are the same. This ensures that our kids will not become bored and that they will remain excited about coming to class. Functional movements involve exercises that our kids use when they play: pulling, pushing, throwing, jumping, climbing, lifting and jumping. All movements and classes are taught under the close supervision of our trained instructors.
Bradenton Kid’s Fitness develops kids that become well-rounded athletes and who will be better at any and all sports that they play because we do not coach them to be good at just one thing. Our workouts will increase physical competence over the 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Accuracy. With workouts that can be modified to any fitness level, Bradenton Kid’s Fitness can equally benefit a child who is less active or one that is a star athlete so that each participant is challenged just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.
